Koliwada Tasty Stuffed Pomfret Fry

Pomfret stuffed fry with a combination of coconut, and koliwada spices then coated with semolina (Rava) and fried.

Stuffed pomfret fry is the very popular dish in koliwada's. This stuffed pomfret fry recipe will give feel like you are in koliwada.


Ingredients

  1. 1 Medium sized pomfret cleaned

  2. 4 Tablespoon grated coconut

  3. 2 Teaspoon koli masala

  4. 1 Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic paste

  5. 1 Teaspoon turmeric powder

  6. 2 Teaspoon tamarind paste

  7. 4 Teaspoon semolina or rava

  8. 2 Teaspoon Coriander & Green chilies paste

  9. Salt as a taste

  10. 6 Teaspoon Oil

  11. Cotton thread

Method:

  1. In the bowl take 4 Tablespoon grated coconut, 2 Teaspoon koli masala, Teaspoon Ginger-Garlic paste, 1 Teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 Teaspoon tamarind paste, 2 Teaspoon Coriander & Green chilies paste, Salt as a taste.

  2. Add a few drops of water and mix the ingredients very well.

  3. Apply this gravy (masala) to the fish, inside.

  4. Proper tie to pomfret with cotton thread.

  5. Take frying pan and add oil. let oil heat.

  6. Roll the pomfret in semolina (rava) to cover both sides.

  7. Now add the pomfret in the hot oil.

  8. Fry around 10-12 minutes.

  9. Serve hot.
